Treasury invests MAD 33.4 billion in cash surplus
The Treasury and External Finances Division (Direction du Trésor et des Finances extérieures – DTFE) launched three cash surplus investment operations on Thursday, for a total of MAD 33.4 billion.
The first operation, with a reverse repo of MAD 32.5 billion, was underwritten over seven days at a weighted average rate of 2.99%, the DTFE said in a press release.
The second placement, also with a reverse repo, concerns an amount of MAD 500 million subscribed over one day at a rate of 2.50%, while the third, unsecured placement of MAD 400 million is subscribed over one day at a weighted average rate of 3%, the DTFE adds.
