Bank of Uganda has released the Quarterly Financial Stability Review for June 2020
The Bank of Uganda has released the Quarterly Financial Stability Review for June 2020. The report provides an assessment of the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on the stability of the domestic banking system.
The outlook for financial stability points to challenging conditions for the banking sector going forward, mainly driven by the impact of the pandemic shock on economic activity and credit risk. Nonetheless, Bank of Uganda will continue to implement the appropriate measures as the outbreak evolves, in order to address any emerging risks to financial sector stability.
