Business opportunity seminars are demand-driven, one-stop for consultants, consulting firms, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, private companies and investors from the Bank Group’s Member Countries looking to provide goods and services to the Bank Group projects, to develop a project on the continent with the support of the Bank Group or to invest in Bank projects.
During BOSs, the Bank shares information, and updates on the procurement framework, and on how to access business opportunities, be it corporate or project linked. These events are traditionally organized at the request of constituency partners, and they help strengthen the relationship between the Bank and its shareholders. During BOSs, participants can:
- Learn about the Bank Group’s strategic directions, operational priorities, project
pipelines and ongoing sovereign and non-sovereign operations. - Meet with Bank Group sector and regional specialists to get a greater understanding of traditional sectors of intervention and discover how consultants and contractors can support such interventions.
- Meet with Bank Group staff in procurement, project management and related
operations and understand how to qualify for Bank-financed contracts. - Network with other consulting firms, private companies and suppliers from non-regional and regional Member Countries of the Bank Group. Understand the Bank Group’s financial products and instruments.
- Discover what business opportunities are available, and where, across Africa.
