The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) celebrates its sixtieth anniversary on the 24th and 25th number 2022 in Dakar. The commemoration will be marked by the organization of an international symposium on the theme “Central banks in a changing world”. This international symposium scheduled for November 24 at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center (CICAD) in Diamniado will be followed by the official installation ceremony of the Governor of the BCEAO, Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi BROU, on November 25 at the headquarters of the institution. . Governor Jean-Claude Kassi BROU was appointed by the Conference of Heads of State and Government of WAMU, meeting on June 4, 2022, and was sworn in on July 8, 2022 at BCEAO Headquarters.
