SA trade surplus widens to R19.70bn in September

South Africa recorded a trade surplus of R19.70 billion in September, up from a revised surplus of R6.20 billion in August, data from the revenue service showed on Monday.

Exports rose 10.0% month on month to R191.56 billion in September, while imports were up 2.3% at R171.86 billion, the South African Revenue Service said.
