The JSE ALSI dipped sharply -2.42% on Monday, despite gains posted by Absa Group on the back of its strong FY2021 earnings, supported by gains from FirstRand. In Lagos, the NGX was soft 0.02%, the BRVM weaker by 0.59%, the EGX-30 fell -0.58% while the Nairobi bourse gained 0.10% led by Trans Century, CIC Insurance and a few others.
